About Naturopathic Care....
Naturopathic medicine utilizes natural therapies such as diet,
exercise, vitamins, minerals, herbs, enzymes, fresh air, water, sunshine and emotional changes. It is a total health care
system emphasizing the individual needs of each person, and it seeks to balance the mental, physical, and spiritual. Naturopathy
stimulates the body's ability to heal itself, given the proper foundation.
The practice of Naturopathic Medicine is becoming widely accepted
as a viable alternative for health-care. Many individuals are seeking a health-care practitioner who spends the time to listen
to you and understand you as a whole person. Someone that sees you not as just a list of symptoms, and helps you adapt a natural
life-style to keep you healthy for the rest of your life. Naturopathic Doctors promote the healing power of nature, focusing
on health rather than disease, and use natural therapies that are gentle, non-toxic and non-invasive.
What Should I expect from
a Naturopathic Visit?
Naturopathic Medicine focuses on treating the
whole person using individualized care. Each visit and care protocol is tailored to your specific needs. Your first visit
includes an in depth assessment including a complete medical history and physical exam. Further laboratory diagnostics may
be ordered depending on your presenting condition. Expect to spend about 1½ hours at the office for your first visit. Your
second visit is typically 45 minutes to 1 hour in length and is a time for your Naturopathic Doctor to discuss findings from
your first visit and potential treatment options. Each additional visit typically lasts 30 minutes and is time to assess progression
and fine tune your therapy.
The Specifics...
What is Naturopathy?
"Naturopathy: a distinct system
of non-invasive healthcare and health assessment in which neither surgery nor drugs are used, dependence being placed only
on education, counseling, naturopathic modalities and natural substances, including without limitation, the use of foods,
food extracts, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, digestive aids, botanical substances, topical natural substances, homeopathic
preparations, air, water, heat, cold, sound, light, the physical modalities of magnetic therapy, naturopathic non-manipulative
bodywork and exercise to help stimulate and maintain the individual's intrinsic self-healing processes."

Our Mission...
- Promote only natural non-invasive (no needles!) therapies, as God, through nature, has
provided safe and natural remedies.
- Encourage a lifestyle that will enhance homeostasis and total wellness from the head down.
- View the individual as a whole person consisting of mind, body and spirit.
- Teach prevention, by promoting a healthy lifestyle that includes proper nutrition, rest,
exercise, etc. while exploring those negative factors in one's life that can prevent natural health from being achieved.

but will interest his patient in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.” —Thomas
